Role 1
The buyer defines acceptance
The drawing, intended use, critical features, approved revision, quantity, quality evidence, delivery destination, and purchasing approval remain the buyer's requirements.
About MakesHub
MakesHub is an engineer-led manufacturing sourcing and delivery business for buyers who need clearer technical decisions, written commercial assumptions, controlled quality requirements, and reliable project records.

Operating model
MakesHub is not an anonymous supplier directory and does not treat every process listing as proof of production capability. The required supplier route and commercial scope must be reviewed against the actual project.
Role 1
The drawing, intended use, critical features, approved revision, quantity, quality evidence, delivery destination, and purchasing approval remain the buyer's requirements.
Role 2
MakesHub keeps files, engineering questions, supplier capability checks, quotation assumptions, quality scope, commercial decisions, and delivery communication connected.
Role 3
A production route is used only after the applicable process, material, tolerance, equipment, capacity, documentation, and delivery fit are reviewed for the project.
MakesHub accountability
Files, decisions, assumptions, reviews, quotations, and changes must remain connected. That continuity is what allows purchasing, engineering, quality, sales, and suppliers to work from the same project context.
Identify missing files, conflicting requirements, process questions, material alternatives, and the decisions that block a useful quotation.
Show unit price, quantity, tooling, samples, quality services, lead time, payment, freight, validity, exclusions, and unresolved assumptions.
Connect critical dimensions, inspection evidence, certifications, cosmetic criteria, packaging, origin, Incoterm, and delivery instructions.
Preserve part configuration, current files, superseded revisions, quotations, purchase orders, customer decisions, and delivery context.
Commercial model
Project charges belong in the quotation. Optional tooling, engineering, inspection, documentation, packaging, and delivery services stay visible instead of being hidden inside an unsupported all-inclusive claim.
Prototype, low-volume, bridge, and repeat-production parts under the approved quotation.
Molds, dies, fixtures, DFM support, drawing clarification, and material-alternative review.
Dimensional reports, CMM, FAI, PPAP, material evidence, and third-party inspection when required.
Expedited production, special packaging, split shipments, freight choices, and repeat supply planning.
Trust boundaries
Trust comes from showing what is known, what is still being verified, what the quotation includes, and who owns the next decision.
MakesHub does not present an unverified supplier, machine list, capacity number, certification, or country of origin as confirmed project capability.
Planning guidance is separated from a firm quotation. Custom-part price requires geometry, material, tolerance, quantity, quality, delivery, and supplier evidence.
Material alternatives, tolerance changes, process substitutions, deviations, and commercial exclusions require visible review before acceptance.
File upload starts review. Production requires the applicable written quotation, purchasing handoff, approved revision, and release decision.
Commercial boundaries
Planning estimates help buyers compare quantities and production priorities, but only an issued, engineering-reviewed quotation is a firm commercial offer.
Uploading files does not authorize production or payment. Certifications, special tolerances, inspection documents, controlled-data eligibility, manufacturing origin, and supplier qualifications require written confirmation.
Production begins only after the buyer accepts the applicable quotation and completes the required purchasing handoff.
Upload CAD drawings, quantities, materials, tolerances, finishes, inspection needs, and delivery requirements. The next step is an engineer-reviewed quotation with visible assumptions and unresolved questions.
