Privacy Policy

When you request a manufacturing quote, we may collect your name, business contact details, company information, project requirements, CAD files, drawings, product images, BOM files, and messages you choose to submit.

When you choose Sign in with Google, Google provides an account identifier, verified email address, and basic profile information covered by the openid, email, and profile scopes. MakesHub uses the verified email to match you to an existing customer account. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or other Google content.

We use submitted information to review manufacturability, prepare and revise quotations, communicate about your project, manage customer account access, arrange production and delivery, prevent misuse, and improve the reliability of the quote workflow.

Google sign-in information is used only for authentication and account matching. MakesHub does not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, data brokerage, or training general-purpose AI models.

Google ID tokens are validated on the server for signature, issuer, audience, expiration, and request nonce. MakesHub does not retain Google access tokens or refresh tokens. Customer sessions use an encrypted connection, an HttpOnly cookie, and a hashed server-side session token.

A verified Google email can sign in only when it is already linked to an active MakesHub customer user. Google sign-in does not automatically create company access or expose another customer's projects.

We use service providers such as Cloudflare for hosting, storage, security, and database infrastructure, and Resend for transactional email delivery. They process information only as needed to provide those services. We may also share project information with manufacturing and logistics partners when required to evaluate, produce, inspect, or deliver your parts.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Sign-in sessions normally expire after 30 days and can be ended sooner by signing out or revoking access. Quote, order, file, and communication records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for project delivery, business records, dispute handling, security, and legal obligations.

You may request access, correction, account disconnection, or deletion by emailing sales@makeshub.com. We may need to verify your identity and retain limited records where required for security, contracts, or law.
