Challenge
The project needed functional fit, repeatable hole locations, clean surface finish, and a quote based on prototype quantity with possible repeat demand.
Automotive Illustrative RFQ Scenario
An illustrative RFQ scenario for machined aluminum brackets used in an EV-related assembly, covering drawing review, tolerance notes, and surface finish confirmation.
Illustrative RFQ scenario only. No customer order, production result, or delivery performance is represented.

The project needed functional fit, repeatable hole locations, clean surface finish, and a quote based on prototype quantity with possible repeat demand.
The RFQ path captured STEP files, PDF tolerance notes, material, quantity, finish, and target delivery so sales could create a structured quotation.
Visual manufacturing path
Use the image chain to understand how drawings become a reviewed process, an application-ready part, an inspection plan, and protected delivery.
Review CAD, dimensions, material, tolerance, finish, and missing quotation inputs.
Review the machining route, setup and datum plan, tool access, burr control, secondary operations, and inspection evidence before production.
Connect machined or molded components to EV brackets, cooling parts, housings, and connector applications.
Plan dimensional inspection, critical features, surface checks, and supporting documentation.
Separate finished parts, protect surfaces and metal, label batches, and prepare export packaging.
